Product Description
Ambroxol is the active metabolite of bromhexin in vivo. It is a mucolytic drug with stronger effect than bromhexin. Its hydrochloride is usually used. Ambroxol can directly act on bronchial glands, promote the release of lysosomes from mucus secreting cells, and differentiate and cleave mucopolysaccharide fibers in sputum; It can also inhibit the synthesis of acidic glycoproteins in mucus glands and goblet cells, make them secrete small molecular glycoproteins with low viscosity, reduce the viscosity of sputum and be easy to cough up.
